AmyRuth Bartlett
MA of Counseling
Pastoral Counselor
With three years of service as a pastor and a decade of experience as a licensed professional counselor, AmyRuth is equipped to hold space for those who have dedicated their lives to making the world a better place. She quickly sees what could be and grieves with her clients when their visions are squashed, swallowed by burnout, or ground into monotony. As an artist, AmyRuth is passionate about reconnecting clients with the source of their own inspiration and honestly sojourning through the arid seasons of ministry and life.
AmyRuth lost her own mother when she was 8 years old and subsequently grew up with different families between the United States and Japan. She is no stranger to the nuance of navigating culturally diverse settings, and she is intimately acquainted with complex trauma, grief, and loss. When co-authoring your story feels heavy or confusing, AmyRuth is a discerning companion who believes that your creativity matters and the great creator is at work in all of the subtleties and intricate details of life.
AmyRuth is also the author of a series of booklets: “Journey through the Rat Race,” “Journey through Anxiety,” and “Journey through Addiction.” When not working with clients, AmyRuth spends her time as a daily watcher of sunrises and sunsets, full-time RVing, and homeschooling her amazing children.
