Duane Hammack
MA Counseling, Pastoral Counselor
Duane Hammack has been a professional care-giver for 38 years. Throughout his vocational journey, he has desired to be partnered with God to bring healing and effective life skills to those he serves. He is passionate in his belief that these values of healthy living form the foundation for the abundant life promised in the scripture and are the fuel for being transformed in to the likeness of Christ. Duane’s approach with individuals or couples combines elements of Counseling, Discipleship, Coaching, and Spiritual Direction. He works with those who are moving away from acute crisis while moving toward seeing themselves grow through applying the healing power of Jesus and cultivating deeper intimacy with their God. Duane enjoys working with Christian leaders of all kinds, being an ordained minister and former cross-cultural worker and care-giver to missionaries overseas.
At age 63, married for 42 years, and father and Papa to three adult daughters and four grandchildren, he brings an effective depth of life experience, professional skill, and interpersonal ease to his care-giving. While living previously in Hong Kong and Colorado, Duane completed a 60-mile endurance hike in 24 hours and scaled 7 “Fourteeners”! He continues to enjoy outdoor activity such as cycling, playing disc golf, and sitting on his porch with wife, Sandy, as often as possible.
