James Goddard
PLPC, MA of Counseling
Sees clients based in TN and International
James background in ministry, education and deep love of soul care led him to pursue counseling as a vocation. Working as an educator and in youth and men’s ministry settings led James to want more training and experience to be able to help people suffering emotional, relational, and psychological distress. Entering therapy can be a very hard and trying experience accompanied with feelings of pain, defeat, or hopelessness. That was certainly James’ first experience. Nevertheless, therapy proved to be a place where God’s grace worked extensively, and healing and hope were freshly discovered. James offers a Gospel-centered, grace-oriented approach to counseling for adolescents, adults and families seeking change and healing. James loves to work with those wrestling with grief, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, addictive behaviors, spiritual concerns, men’s sexuality, major life transitions, distrust towards God, and whatever else feels important to process and unpack.
