Laura Fortner enjoys working with adults and older adolescents. In addition to working with civilians, Laura is passionate about working with service members and their families. As a military spouse, Laura has personal experience with military life stressors and loves walking through life adjustments and stressors with others. Laura has experience counseling individuals and families in areas such as trauma, depression, suicidal thoughts, anxiety, perfectionism, stress management, crisis management, relational issues, and life transitions. When she isn’t working, Laura enjoys exploring new foods, traveling, and spending time with her two dogs, husband and son.

  • Laura’s clinical experience includes inpatient psychiatric hospital counseling, in-home therapy, and private practice.

  • Worked in administration from 2011-2018
