Ray Vinson
MA of Counseling
Whether you are experiencing a crisis of self, or are wanting to dig deeper into habits, patterns, and themes, I am excited to know you and walk a few steps with you towards healing, flourishing, and lasting change.
I provide counseling for adult individuals looking to navigate grief and loss, burnout, sexuality, deconstruction, reconstruction, as well as depression, anxiety, relational angst, food and body image, and other mental health concerns. I believe that every part of you is lovable and deserves to be valued and cherished, so you can expect to be invited into a creative, collaborative, and curious process during sessions. I view my role as facilitating opportunities for you to find more compassionate understanding of your choices and experiences, and coaching you towards more whole-hearted self-leadership.
I employ a variety of evidence based modalities to tailor treatment for each client, while utilizing a foundation of Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Attachment Theory, body based approaches and a parts-work modality, to promote both intrapersonal and interpersonal trust, safety, and integrity.
“Real change, enduring change, happens one step at a time.”
