Ryan Beerwinkle
LPC
Sees clients based in CO, AZ and international
Ryan specializes in working with big painful emotions and stories. Death and grief, sexual trauma, religious abuse and trauma, relational betrayal, and other big world-shattering experiences. These events must be processed but often are so overwhelming. It's hard to know where to start. Hard stuff that we would rather avoid, but doing so only continues the pain, and perpetuates feelings of disconnect, fear, and isolation.
Ryan's approach to working with clients is collaborative. Together, you will map your story and develop the skills you need to increase self-awareness and learn the skills to regulate big emotions. Then we will notice patterns from the past and present, affecting the view of yourself and others. All along doing the hard work of change.
For Ryan, the best moments in therapy, are when clients learn to love and extend mercy and grace to all parts of their story and themselves. Especially the parts carrying shame, and pain
