Valarie Johnson
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Valarie began her career in counseling because she enjoys the process of watching and nurturing her clients’ growth as they work through the challenges and questions which bring them to her office. She has experience as a counselor in a broad range of settings, including 15 years working with expats and indigenous peoples in Papua New Guinea and Australia. Her areas of expertise include trauma recovery, stress management and family of origin issues. She has a particular passion for working with missionaries, third culture kids/adults and others navigating the stresses of cross cultural living or reentry transition.
Valarie Lives in North Central Washington State. She enjoys anything that takes her outside to enjoy the mountains, forests and rivers of the Pacific North West.
