Brad Matthews

PhD, MA, MDiv.

Assistant Professor of New Testament

During his postgraduate studies overseas, Brad Matthews encountered and experienced the need for internationally accessible and experienced Christian counselors. Since returning to the states, he has gained over a thousand hours of experience providing pastoral counsel to seminary students, ministry leaders, and pastors. In particular, Brad has a heart for counseling those who want to work on family of origin conflicts, premarital counseling, marriage challenges, and integrating spirituality with emotional and relational health. He and his wife enjoy cooking together and taking walks in the parks and gardens near their home with their daughter. He also enjoys tinkering with a classic British roadster and tackling new home improvement projects.
