Julia Wicker

Julia Wicker provides a holistic lens to counseling, focusing on the whole person; mind, soul, spirit, and body. Her counseling philosophy is relationship-centered, creating an empathic, trusting relationship to draw out a client's inner strength to start the journey of healing. She specializes in working with women, young adults, adolescents, and cross-cultural individuals. Julia is passionate about working with ex-pats and individuals who grew up or have lived overseas as an adult. Julia is a missionary kid and Third Culture Kid who grew up in Lesotho and Zimbabwe. For over 15 years, she's helped cross-cultural families maneuver life's challenges of identity confusion, cultural issues, and rootlessness. Her other specialties include trauma, depression, anxiety, anger issues, unresolved grief and loss, PTSD, and life transitions. She's trained in EMDR and TFCBT, helpful tools for working through trauma and anxiety with adults and adolescents. Julia currently resides in Denver, CO.
