Rachel Hebisen
LPC
Rachel Hebison provides a discerning and honest perspective to help clients view themselves with truth and gentleness. Rachel spent several years working as an inpatient mental health case manager for a psychiatric hospital, where she provided care and counsel to patients in crisis. In that work, she led weekly groups on mental health topics while meeting with individuals facing symptoms of depression, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, substance abuse, mood changes, sexuality concerns, and various trauma reactions. Rachel is a trained EMDR therapist and counsels trauma survivors. She believes that trauma of any kind disrupts a person’s perceptions of self and others and hinders the ability to have healthy relationships. Rachel helps her clients explore their past and present experiences in the context of a strong, safe counselor-client relationship. Rachel sees individual adult clients.
